This is what my job is all about.

It may even be what life is all about. Just about...

XANGA WORLD:

Meet JAE-SUK.

I absolutely love this kid to pieces.

He and his brother, Jea-Won, came to camp last summer right after moving here from Korea. No one in the family spoke much English, and it was especially hard for Jae-Suk. He didn't understand what he was being told, so he basically just ran wild, and it was pretty hard for his teachers at first. But they were signed up for several weeks of camp, so they stuck it out, and their last week at camp was one of the weeks I got to teach. They had improved so much and were learning so much - it was so exciting. Now Jae-Suk probably stole my heart on the last day, when we were walking somewhere for an activity. For some reason he liked to be at the front of the line, and he liked to hold my hand when we went somewhere. He was just skipping along next to me and randomly said, in a cute little accent, "Christina, I love you!"

Yep... stole my heart... I've been waiting all summer for those boys to come back! Jea-Won is too old for my class now, but Jae-Suk is here and he's just as cute and funny as ever, PLUS his English is really great and he's incredibly well-behaved. Soooooooooo precious! I wanna keep 'im!

LOOK AT MY CUTE KIDS!!!

I love 'em. These are my campers from this week. Next week my favorite little way-too-cute Korean boy Jae-Suk is coming. Last year when he came, he spoke almost no English, but he learned so much and did so well... I can't wait to see him after a whole year of school! I love my kiddos. :)

The record-breaking hula-hoop team - around the circle in 47 seconds! This is the Green group - 2nd and 3rd graders.

Silly shot!

Yellow group - Kindergarten and 1st graders

Silly shot!

The 3 Musketeers - Jevon, Tejas, and Allen. Tejas couldn't stop laughing. I couldn't either.
